Project Reflect 2012 - Coping

Project Reflect is being hosted by Esther Fox this year. She asked that we spend a little time each day this month to reflect back on 2012 and post things we've learned and loved over the last year. Here is our question for day 1!

December 1: Coping

We all have ways of coping with the stresses of life, whether it be cuddling with a cat or curling up with a cup of tea and a good book. Describe one thing you did this year to cope with your day to day, to escape from reality. How did this one thing come about?

Have you ever found yourself vegged out on the couch with a container spoonful of peanut butter and a gallon large glass of milk? I'm going to just pretend that you're nodding your head in agreement on this one... Well, that is my coping mechanism at its best.  Grab my PJ's straight out of the dryer, grab a snack from the kitchen, and sprawl out on the couch to stare aimlessly into a TV... a TV that sometimes I forget to turn on.  No, this by no means is healthy on ANY level - but you asked the question ;)

How do you cope with stress or a bad day?

Do you have a go-to snack to deal with stress?

  1. Dood, I am right there with you. Although, instead of peanut butter, for me it's a date with Ben, Jerry, and Netflix. And some milk as well.
